Join Wood County Parks for their Winter Educational Series!

On Saturdays from 11am-12pm, participate in three different educational programs.

On March 9th,"Plant Conservation in Your Wood County Parks". Led by Sanja Jennings, learn about the conservation efforts underway at the Reuthinger Preserve and the vital role of the nursery & greenhouse in preserving native plants in Northwest Ohio

On March 16th, "Building a Pocket Prairie". Alex Helwig presents about creating a prairie in your own backyard! Gain helpful insight into creating a diverse ecosystem and learn about the impact you can make with the smallest of prairies.

On March 23rd, join Cinda Stutzman, Natural Resources Manager from Bowling Green City Parks for "Increasing Biodiversity Across a Municipality". In this session, Bowling Green Parks and Recreation staff will review the history, evolution, and expansion of native plantings in and around Bowling Green. Learn about these sustainably efforts as well as new projects on the horizon!
